  1. no he can prove himself in higher weights...he should retire after welterweight and after he beats de la hoya, mayweather, cotto,

  2. first he has to move up in weight since he proved only that he's good at the weight he' in now otherwise he hasn't proved s**t.

  3. Boxers really never retire, not with the kind of money on the table that star power can bring. He needs to move up in weight class, which will give him a legit shot at an alphabet-soup title.

  4. i think he should  move up to 140 pounds and try to get a title at that weight there is still competicion out there for him!!!!

  5. LOL retire???? what are you crazy?!?! He’s young, quick, powerful and on top of his game. He’s a huge PPV draw and still has millions and millions of dollars to make with no real risks out there for him.

Retire????? man....... ummm nah...I don’t think he should retire.

He has a **** load of gambling debts, he did or was going to file for bankruptcy a year or two ago, not sure what’s going on with that anymore.

He may have to move up in weight to find some competition and make the big PPV mega fights. But he can still kick around 130 and make some big payday days.

Manny could probably beat everyone on the 130 to 140 landscape and could make some interesting exciting fights at 147 as well.

The most exciting fighter in the world leaving boxing?? Yikes.

He hasn’t proved anything??!?!?!?!? You guys are all on glue.

He started his career at Flyweight 112 lbs.  He beat Ledwaba at  Bantamweight, moved up and beat Barrera in a fight he was supposed to lose. Then defeated Marquez (a draw only because one of the judges didn’t know how to score correctly)

After that he Lost a decision to Erik Morrales but in turn ended Morrales career. Came back to KO Morrales twice for the first time in Morrales career. Then he beat Larios, followed by another Ko win over Morrales in 3 rounds, beat up on Barrera again and then beat Marquez.

With in 3 years he Ko'd Morrales twice, Larios, Marquez,Solis and Barrera and cleaned up the division.

He hasnt proved anything???? He’s proved he’s the most exciting fighter in boxing and he proved that he is the best fighter from 112 to 130.

  6. Keep on fighting.

  7. he should not retire at all..... Manny is the best of what he does that's Boxing. short or tall opponents he will survive and defeat who ever wants to destroy him. His An  "ICON". and sometimes you lose , sometimes you win.. win or lose he still have a big heart. in person this guy is well decipline and have no fear. why because i know soo my father work in his farm.......

  8. Although I do like Pacman, I think he is just beginning to decline. He's been in some tough fights, and I would prefer to see him go out with dignity, so I say he should have no more than about 5 or 6 more fights. That gives him a chance to win title(s) at 135lb, and maybe have a superfight somewhere in there e.g. against Hatton.

  9. Pac retire now? are you kidding? He already has losses on his record so it's not like he has a  perfect record to protect. He may be considered one of the biggest heroes in the Philippines but he's not exactly a legend in the sport itself. His most notable wins have been over aging champs Barrera and Morales. Morales even managed to beat him within a few fights of the end of his career and Pac's biggest fight thus far (and last as featherweight) ended in a controversial decision with Pac refusing the rematch.
