Do you think Mario Chalmers will start for the Miami Heat

After his incredible summer league performance, of course Mario is starting.  The Heat is looking to trade J-Will right now.

The question now is would Michael Beasley start over Shawn Marion or would he have to play another position.

He has a good chance to be the starter because as of right now the Heat only have Marcus Banks and Daequan Cook under contract as guards other than Wade.  Also Cook is really a shooting guard not a point guard.

I don't think he'll start right away but once the coach realizes he's a good NBA player, then he'll start him. First he will come of the bench. Then he'll be a work in progress, and then start.

IMO   Macus Banks will start for the first 2 -3 weeks to let chalmers gain experience off the bench     i don think he can start right away

well chris quinn will probaly be point for a while until chalmers develops

but when he gets the flow of the nba game he will be a key part  for the heat because he is a great shooter and has quick hands on the defensive end

i think there are still a number of scenarios that can happen between now and the beginning of the season.  i would imagine that if the Heat are making any moves before the season- that near the top of their priority list has to be acquiring a point guard.  

Based on his summer-camp performance i think Mario could be the best point guard on their roster- and i'd most certainly give him the opportunity to start.  Unless the Heat pick up another point guard- i think it's a matter of time before Chalmers starts.

umm i think he might start right away too see how he does..and if hes good then they'll keep him at the starting spot and if not..he'll be the back up.

Right now he has to start. The only other point guard they have that is starting quality is Chris Quinn and they have not signed him yet.

I would give Mario the chance to start and see what happens.
