Do you think Mayweathers shoulder roll would work against Cotto?

i doubt mayweathers would be using his shoulder roll defense against cotto because cotto can bang.hes broken opponents jaws,dislocated someones shoulder, he leaves everybodys faces deformed. i think cotto would injure mayweathers shoulder if he did that.

Cotto fans are missing on the huge disparity in speed.  Floyd is a quantum leap in physical ability in comparison to MC's opposition.  MC would get machine gunned and knocked out early. I saw an ordinary fighter have MC all but KO'd.  Speed kills.

i really dont want to answer this question because I like all fighters but I know the sport of boxing. You and no one else can convince me that mayweather would sit in the ring for twelve rounds and let cotto just bang on mayweather while he looks stupid and dont throw punches back. mayweather is more faster more skilled and honestly has a much better chin and defense over cotto. when have you ever seen mayweather down in a match or in serious trouble. I have seen cotto in serious trouble against ricardo torres. ricardo who! exactly he gets in trouble and gets knock down by know names. corley and judah had him in trouble. Its nothing I can see that cotto can do to beat mayweather. if cotto tries to box like he did mosely or judah he will get knocked out. mayweather is a scientist when it comes to counter punching. cotto foot movement is slow hes not as strong as you might think he is and mayweather hits just as hard. there is nothing cotto could do but come in straight foward and get hit with that old fashing check left hook and go down. mayweather wins by way of knock out easy. this will be a gatti fight total mitch match on skills and hand speed.

I dont think he would use the shoulder roll with Cotto, I dont see him letting Cotto getting anywhere near him in a future fight between them. I really believe that Cotto is the only fighter out there at the minute who has a chance of beating Floyd but Floyd knows all about his power and will try and pick his shots just like he did against Hatton and De La Hoya and Baldomir and the list goes on. Floyd is a very clever fighter who goes in with a gameplan and always executes it perfectly. Dont get me wrong though i would love to see him walk onto Cottos heaviest shot but i just dont see it happening.
