Of course he knew. They ask them extremely personal questions going all the way back to their childhood when they interview candidates. In fact, perhaps one of the people we thought would be the candidate wasn't because they had skeletons in their own closets.

His campaign says they knew, but who really knows. I think it depends on whether the media asks the appropriate questions. I think the most appropriate question to Sarah Palin would be this:

"Governor Palin you are strong supporter of Abstinence Only s*x Education. Do you believe this is effective?"

Yes he knew and came out with it after the media uncovered it. Its not our business that the daughter is pregnant but it is our business that the mother (the VP pick) lied about it and tried to cover it up. It shows that she is poor at being a mother. And considering that she doesn't have much experience as a politician either, that's just a sad situation.

Politicians are only a reflection of society at large and no democrat can can argue they are a better person morally than a republican. I don't think republicans are better morally either. They are just better at hiding their mistakes. Again, this is just a reflection of society today and the problems we face together.

Yes, I think so.  

I think they hire private investigators before recommending anyone for a Vice-presidential position.  Too much is at stake.

I think McCain DID know, and I think he actually wants to use it to get sympathy from single mothers.
