  1. I think so because I am for Obama. The race is effectively over before the Republicans even hold their convention.

    See...life IS good.

  2. I think he made a brilliant choice. She is conservative and a mother of 5, including a son in the Army who is set to be deployed to Iraq on September 11. I don't know much about her, but she sounds like what McCain needed.

Edit - I'm very excited about his choice!

  3. Yes, I think McCain picked well. People I know have been very excited, saying that McCain has basically won now.

  4. She hunts moose

    She fishes

TV Sports reporter, Pres of PTA, then City council for 4 years, then Mayor then for 4 years, then Lt Govenor for 4 years, now Govenor for 2 years.

She has an approval rate of over 80% the highest in the USA.

    Mother of 5

Oldest son in the US Army

Youngest son born with Downs Syndrome, they knew and still had the child.

She actually has visited the troops in Lanstuhl hospital in Germany.

Her husband is a real man who has won the snowmobiler 2000-mile "Iron Dog" race. 4 times.

    Her husband is native American

    Palin is a great VP

  5. He did for the democrats, I believe- I was having lots of doubts that Obama could take it before McCain made his chose of Palin, but this should really put the icing on the cake for the dems. She seems to be a much more pleasant choice than a lot of others he could have made, but I would have expected him to choose Romney, Huckabee, or Phil Gram, or maybe one of the other Bush brothers instead. I'm surprised at his choice given what's at stake, but I'm also very happy, because I think this puts things in the dem's favor. I think he would like to win over disgruntled Hilary voters with this choice, but I don't think he'll be able to succeed. I look forward to seeing her debate Joe Biden!

  6. It show the type of reasoning republicans use to chose a president. Country first of votes first?

  7. I think McCain made a very surprising and bold choice with his VP pick.

She is very good pick, she'll be a very good VP. She brings a lot up to the plate. And I really enjoyed listening to her acceptance speech (and yes I listened to all of it, not just a few sound bites. I listened to the whole thing) She is so right on...

Joe Biden is the worse pick a nominee could ever make. He is so stuck up and smug. He thinks of himself as better than everyone else, a real snob and a boob. Thumbs down for Obama's pick, plus Obama snubbed & dissed Hillary.
