Do you think McCain will discuss his 1st marriage at the Republican Convention? ?

Since everyone is telling about their lives, do you think McCain will be willing to share information to the public about his 1st marriage and his 1st wife and his family as well as reasons for his divorce? What would he tell us--- does anyone know?

It seems unnecassary divorce happens a lot in the US

Who knows what he was like when he first returned home.

It wouldnt seem like any one would care?

It's in at least one of his books. You can probably find a copy at your local library.  For him talking about it, it's old news, not as old as the POW stories, but still old.

Well, Palin's daughter is pregnant NOW, so it makes sense to talk about it.

McCain's divorce from his first wife, on the other hand, happened a few decades ago.   So there's no reason to bring it up.

Yes.  I'm sure he will get up and tell everyone how he was running around on her and then after her car accident he just thought she got too overweight and unattractive....so he found this hot young rich woman and got his marriage license even before telling her he was divorcing her.  He might as well.  He's not going to win anyway especially after his idiotic choice for VP.

During the saddle back forum a few weeks ago McCain made reference to his first marriage:

McCain's answer to the question on his own failings was succinct. "My greatest moral failing, and I have been a very imperfect person, is the failure of my first marriage," he said.

Despite your and others attempts to smear McCain with stories from his divorce McCain faces the issue.

Ronald Regan was divorced as well.
