  1. Yes I do.

While I have disagreed with him on numerous issues, that is my right and prerogative. The one thing I do like about McCain is at least he listens, and at times will change his mind. The McCain/Kennedy bill comes to mind on that one. He heard the people and was like, okay, maybe I need to think this through a little more.

The Democrats have tried to call that flip flopping. They have whined more than anybody about how Bush is unmovable on his decisions and beliefs, but when a Republican that comes along can and will listen to the people, they call it flip flopping. Flip flopping is when one day you say you're totally against any and all extra drilling, then turning right around within hours, and saying you're open to more drilling. Obama did just that.

The one thing he has said repeatedly that I really like is about taxes. The Democrats have tried to demonize success. Saying they want to tax the rich, whatever that is.

McCain says no to raising taxes. He doesn't want to raise taxes on ANYBODY. That it isn't the tax cuts that have put us in the position we're in, it's the out of control spending. I couldn't agree with him more.

Over all though, I believe that the government should do only these things. Provide national security, build roads and bridges, provide public safety. That is it.

McCain fits that description for me better than Obama by a long shot.

  2. No.

1- McCain is a gold digger.  Someone that greedy can't be a leader.

2- McCain has no convictions.  After 2000 he sold out everything he believed in to crawl up Bush's azz.

3- He is a pathetic individual.  He would do anything to be president.

And Obama is not a good leader either..

1- Obama is a puppet of the Daley Machine in Chicago.

2- Obama has no convictions like McCain.

3- Obama was never a meaningful "Community Activist" and just used that title to get in office.

4- Obama stabbed Alice Palmer in the back to become a State Senator.

  3. No because he picked a soccer mom with way out right wing opinions as his VP just because she looks neat. That just shows the overall level he's on.

  4. No. By his own admission, he's impulsive, and he's completely thrown out his maverick principles to pander to Conservatives.

The Palin decision is an excellent example of both problems.

  5. He has Military experience which is good for being Commander in Chief. He has substantial Foreign Policy experience. He has been in public service to this country for a long time. He won't raise taxes...not just the income taxes, but Death Tax and Capital Gains Tax. He hasn't stated a grip of changes to be made without telling us how he is going to do it. He  doesn't have ties to unscrupulous folks like Bill Ayers and Rev. Jeremiah Wright.

  6. No.

He's a 72 year old man who should be retiring from his political career, not starting the big one.

  7. I think he is a very good leader. On paper, he makes a very good president, however, he's more of the same. Yes, I sound like an Obama supporting enthusiast, but its true. McCain has stood with Bush 90% of the time. He has changed his mind on just about every issue. The guy simply adjusts to the occasion. Nevertheless, so does Obama. But on record, Obama has been more consistent over the long-run. I prefer consistency and aggressive approach over the ever-changing politic of John McCain.

  8. yes. because he's not obama.

  9. Nope. I don't trust him. It doesn't matter to me though, because I live in Canada!

  10. 8 years ago...ABSOLUTELY.

    NOW...h**l NO!!!!!!!!!

He has now turned to the Dark Side...

  11. No. And he will never get a chance to show it either.

  12. No, because he is a spiritually ugly, and dangerous man.

  13. Personally, I don't think any of the 4, D or R, would make a good president and I am truly afraid for our country.  I think they are all irresponsible and dumb about what is going on in the world. They are full of pretty words that they think the people want to hear but NONE of them will carry them out!

  14. No because he tries extremly too much to look like a republican when the repubs are not all pleased that he is their representative. He is extremly unaware about what the majority of americans want. He speaks like a robot when he talks. He lost even more respect when he chose Sarah Palin as vp candidate (No its not that shes a woman its the kind of woman she is. I'm not sexist) Mccain's whole message is that Obama doesn't have enough experience when Palin has less that Obama. The only reason he chose Palin was because he wanted to court the undecided and fake clinton supporters (I say fake because if you are a real Clinton supporter you are a Democrat first, Clinton supporter second) The reason Clinton supporters supported Clinton was because of he veiws (which is what should be what they vote her for) but Palin doesn't have the same veiws and i doubt it will work.

  15. yes he has the experience and good judgment to make things better he is also a Maverick who allows no earmarks

  16. No, his first executive decision, picking a VP was stunningly stupid.
