Do you think Medieval Times is cheesy?

I'll bet it was really revolutionary in the late 80's or 90's. The knights there remind me of dungeons and dragons guys that wear black trench coats and like daggers. I'll bet the have a lot of groupies though and probably often say that they love their jobs because they get to be themselves. I wonder how much money they make. It was sort of cool, except for the soup broth they brought out that tasted like burned pepper corns and humiliated vegetables. So, what do people think of that place?

  1. It is a fun experience once a year. If you go more often maybe not. Think again in a year.

  2. cheesy as h**l. all themed places are a bit tacky, i've often wondered if its a distraction tactic to desguise the terrible food!

  3. I think yeah, last time I went one of the knights threw a rose to a girl on audience. The place is elegant.

  4. its a great place to go if you want to have a fun dinner and show... obviously if you are looking for fine dining you wouldnt go to a 'medieval theme' restaurant.

  5. Looks fantastically awfully bad from the looks of their website I am so glad that we do not have such horrendous themed dining experiences in the U.K.

  6. "Cheesy" is a relative term.  If you actually know anything about history or European military swordsmanship, it's a laugh riot.  They work hard staging the show, though, so I have a lot of respect for those guys.

Also, there's no groupie like a combat groupie.  Swords, boxing, MMA, you name it--the girls who go in for it are like no other women on the planet.
