Do you think Michael Braun is guilty of drug use?

Jason Ackermanis accused Michael Braun from the West Coast Eagles as a drug cheat. Do you think this is true?

To answer your question probably not but who knows?,the west coast players have a fairly dodgy reputation when it comes to drugs and have probably made a rod for their own backs there's an old saying where there's smoke there's fire,and just to clarify Aker didn't publicly name braun it was channel 7 who  betrayed a confidence and went a head and named Micheal braun publicly,Aker had no influence on channel 7's decision to do this other than to voice his concerns to a media person in private,Micheal Braun should be given the benefit of the doubt and deserves his name to be free from these sort of allegations but the AFL should set a permanent drug testing station at the Eagles ground its becoming a joke over there.lol

Aker and Channel 7 are about to get sued for speaking out so no I don't.

Actually whoever was playing on Aker on the weekend after the Bulldogs got flogged better watch his back because he might be the next one accused.

It's really not for any of us to say is it? Forky has a point though- the behaviour and problems which have plagued the Eagles could have some fire under all the smoke. The AFL needs to be seen to be more stringent in how they deal with these issues instead of making it up as they go.

Obviously not. It's unfair I think. Braun is part of the Eagles team, which is always under scrutiny because 1 player has ADMITTED to taking drugs. This means that because of Akamanis' accusation Braun is going to be guilty until proven innocent, which is completely unfair.

What is wrong with a player beating Aka without drugs? Akamanis is seriously full of himself. I used to like him, but he should never have done that. And channel 7 were stupid to say who the player was just for a bit of publicity because now it says everywhere channel 7 said who it is, it goes against the whole AFL drug policy thingy. If he was on drugs, it should be handled by the AFL not the media or Akamanis. Aka just wants attention and thinks he is the best player ever to step on to the ground.

Ackermanis is past his use by date & is coming out with these unfounded & baseless accusations for one reason only.

He wants to get himself in the limelight for life after footy - in the media.

I think he shot himself in the foot this time. A study was done of the coverage of that game & Ackermanis's claims did not add up. He was made to look a bigger foll than he actually is.

Of all people to try & tarnish!! Michael Braun, of all people.

As much as I don't like eagles i feel really sorry for braun and i don't think he would ever take drugs. I am a lions suporter and I have to say that when Akermanis was playing for Brisbane in the past couple of years he got a lot of attention for what he said about the club so he went to the dogs. i think that he has done this because he isn't really getting a lot of attention at the bulldogs so he wants to make attention.

We don't know until he pees in a cup. Innocent until proven guilty. If he played for Collingwood or Footscray, spot on he would be guilty. Collingwood and Footscray are that kind of c**p club to break the rules. Especially Collingwood, the trash of the AFL, too bad Eddie is their prez. Eddie McGuire is a great guy--met him and he is OK.

Jason Akermanis is the biggest d**k in Australia. How could anyone make insane accusations without any evidence to support his **** and get away without even a warning from the AFL. It astounds me to think that Akermanis is not getting suspended for such ridiculous, slanderous comments. I hope his **** gets sued to bits in court.

Aka is one of those people who need attention whether it is good or bad. How is it possible to know if someone is on drugs? It is at the point now when if a champion ever comes along they are instantly labeled a cheat. Imagine if someone ran 100m in 9.6s? or was better than Bradman?

I think one of the reasons why Lance Armstrong has been accused is because people can't understand how someone can do what he did because they know that it would be  impossible for them. Maybe he's just a champion.

Aka - maybe Braun is just fitter/faster and more determined than you?
