  1. Phelps deserves the attention he is getting.  He also acknowledges his teammates.  What else do you want?

  2. Naw, he's amazing. He deserves it.

  3. Yeah having a litterally perfect olympics while breaking Mark Spitz's record for gold medals in one games is definitly not worth any attention.

  4. Phelps won eight gold medals, it isnt fault he rocks :D

  5. Lets see he set alot of world records and won 8 gold medals.

  6. I sure don't think he can help that. Not his fault though, maybe those other guys just have to set some very odd records too, so that the light can be on them...

  7. He isn't grabbing the limelight but the Media can't focus on

anyone else. They keep calling him the Greatest Olympian of All Times, I really wish they would keep their made-up titles to themselves and use the ones he worked so hard for the last few years. Gold Medal Winner, 8 times over.

  8. I don't think he's trying to, but he's done better than anyone at an Olympics.. EVER. So of course the spotlight will be more on him than anyone else. He's awesome!

  9. Phelps isn't' the media, he can't take the spotlight away from anyone.
