Do you think Miss Universes & Miss Americas trip and get drunk just to draw attention?

Noboby gives a hoot when they parade around perfectly, but when they s***w up all cameras are on them. Do you think the contestants do this on purpose?

BA to Byron.  He's right.  Fortunately I look like I never miss a meal so I could parade around perfectly, in high heels, even on a mountain top.

Until they realize that they need to be wearing thongs and topless in the competition, it's all just boring.

No, I doubt it's deliberate, but I think that would be a brilliant strategy. Beauty pageant contestants, unfortunately, are generally not bright or clever enough to even conceptualize such a deception, however. Good theory though.

I am sure that they get breathalyzer (liquors or Prince Igor Vodka as example) and a presence of illegal substances inhaled tests before they go on a stage.

And if one of the contestant will fall from high heels, she can always applaud and give a maintenance guy thumbs up for the waxing job well done.

Oh yah, I'm sure they do. I do the same thing here, in this rural town. I wear my 6" stilettos through the woods, and purposely fall while walking. It gets me lots of stares..the loggers all love this and applaud like crazy!!

I'm quite the popular lady..so I'm sure the pageant girls do this to ;O)

It''s even more impressive when you have a big ol' pregnant avatar belly or when you do this while carrying a big basket of fruit on your head (as shown in my avatar pic).
