  1. he is really playing hard... he dint have a big win agaist federer so i think he will lose atleast lose a match. and i hope federer beats him in clay court

  2. no he wont lose game on clay because he is too good for enyone.

  3. As of now, it looks like Federer might beat him once again. The 7-5 7-5 loss was really close, as Fed was leading in the second set and then Nadal came back. Fed also made an uncharacteristically high amount of unforced error.

  4. Well he is bound to loose at least one match but to who is a tricky question. Federer and Djokovic still have a good shot at Rome, Hamburg and the French Open. Other players like Nalbandian and Murray could beat Nadal if they played their best tennis and Nadal was not on form. Also lots of people are saying the huge amount of tennis Nadal is doing will be his uncoming.

  5. I doubt that he will lose this year.  He's too comfortable on clay compared to other players and needs to have a really off day to lose a match on the surface.  Last year, Federer concentrated all of his attention on clay and was at full strength when he was able to finally beat Nadal who overexhausted himself.  This year, Fed's only hope is for Nadal to run out of gas again.  As for the other players, there are very few who are strong on clay (Nalbandian and Ferrer are prob. at the top of that list) and they seem to be unable to match Fed and Rafa.

You also have to look at the way the rankings position the players.  What plays to Rafa's advantage is that Djokovic wants to prove himself out there, but will always meet Federer in the semis (#1 and #3 seeds), which means whichever one of them survives the encounter will be exhausted by the time they play the finals against Rafa.  That bodes well for Rafa yet again.

  6. he would lose some matches , no one can win every match

  7. He won't loss.. He's my favorite clay court player..

  8. probobly not but he will start to get wors in 1 or to years because of his self damaging strange style

  9. he might lose a match possibly in hamburg where the clay plays faster than in paris.

to whom i think it would be roger cos djokovics game is not up there on clay as of now.

i dont think he will lose at the french open though.

a clean sweep of all the titles for nadal would be great!

    go nadal!

  10. Rafa may not be able to make a clean sweep of the clay court matches this year. Firstly, because Roger feels much better now and is out to prove himself as people have questioned his ability on clay as compared to Rafa. He may be able to win one of the tournaments. Secondly, Djoko wants to prove that he can play on clay too, besides being good at hard court. Roger and Djoko will try to give some sort of a problem to Rafa preventing him to make a clean sweep. All said and done, Rafa is still the king of clay.

  11. hope not... he's my favorite.. last year he lost to fed in hamburg final! vamos nadal!

  12. I hope he wins them all this year. Even though he won against Fed at Monte Carlo, he played a fairly poor match. He needs to raise his level of play to be able to win them all.

  13. If he plays too much I think he might lose at least 1 match, maybe to Ferrer, he looks like a real dark horse for the French Open.

  14. Yes, he will lose some clay court matches this year!

  15. Probably.  It definetly is a possiblity for him to make a perfect sweep, but I think that last 3 to 4 years have made people start to forget JUST how amazing  and unprecedented the feats of Roger and Rafa are.

It is EXTREMELY unlikely for him to have a perfect clay season.  He is human afterall, and there are also outside circumstances that could happen like injury or someone having a really amazing day.  Possible for Rafa, but his amazing one loss last year is not your average accomplishment, and probably won't be repeated or improved on.

Last year was unbelievable.  It will be much harder than people realise, especially with the pressure of last year's achievement and defending all those points, for Rafa to stay at that level every single match.

  16. nah, he will go on and on until his body gives in...thats how you maximize one's body in terms of utilization....an "off day" is most likely to happen for him to lose but thats it...
