I once watched Nancy Pelosi on Larry King live brag that she was the most powerful woman in the World and was quoted as saying that" "the most powerful person in the World is the President, the second most powerful person in the World is the Vice President and the third most powerful person in the World is the Speaker of the House which is me".....

Now, Sarah Palin will become the most powerful woman in the World as VP and this displaces Nancy Pelosi. Do you believe old Nancy has smoke coming out of her nostrils at this very moment?

McCain & Palin would need to win the election before she becomes Vice President.  This is not a foregone conclusion.  The candidates would need to win a majority of electoral votes and right now polling data suggests the other ticket, Obama-Biden have a slight advantage in electoral votes.

And regarding Nancy Pelosi, no, it is my opinion she probably doesn't care.

Pelosi is so full of herself.  I can't believe how she tries to run the Senate like a dictator. In spite of the fact that the vast majority of Americans favor off shore drilling, she admitted that she blocked the vote on drilling from coming to a vote,  (This prompted one member of the Senate to say "This is the People's House, not Pelosi's Politburo".) She also similiarly blocked McCain's GI Bill, which many military families preferred because it enabled military personnel to transfer educational benefits to family members.  She and her cronies then loaded the Dem. version with expensive pork barrel earmarks then claimed McCain was not supporting our soldiers because he voted against that (Dem., earmark loaded) version.

How ironic, Pelosi and todays "democrats" seem to favor tyrany over democracy.

I think Nancy Pelosi is probably busting a gut.  That mad, maniacal power-hungry woman has, in effect, been told that when it comes to power, she is yet just one more elected official.

Edit:  To Buddy:  Really?  Pelosi's daughter?  What public office does Pelosi's daughter hold?  If she is indeed a holder of public office, past or present, then she may be a delegate.  Please link me to that info, if you can.
