  1. NOPE, not now -  Palin is a great addition to the McCain candicacy; I didn't care for him before as I do now; it is not because she is a woman, but what kind of woman she is; I was impressed with him for chosing her, and together, the look like they can clean up America - that they share certain qualities that I find admirable - such as having the courage to go against the tide on principal; not spending tax payer monies on porkbarrel private interest spending! Palin isn't competing with John for his job, she is here to do her job - as a VP and that was refreshing -

  2. not a chance now...  he's got game with a script and teleprompter but lacks substance and a real plan.

  3. Emotional, empty, undefined promises of change will never beat knowledgeable, solid, experience that has delivered years of service and personal sacrifice while protecting our country from all enemies, foreign domestic.

  4. Okay when it comes down to it Mcain will not make it.

Maybe in 4-8 years but Bush has ruined the Republican party for a while. I think they should lay low.

Remember how about 6 months ago we were saying the Republicans didn't have much of chance?

I think when it comes down to it and we go cast our votes we will remember Bush and not want another 4 years with one and chose the right canidate.

    Go Obama!

  5. There are regular tours.

  6. No, he is finished.

  7. Yes...thanks to McCain's pick of Sarah Palin as his running mate.

I think that it's great for Obama/Biden ticket. Because by choosing a running mate with no foreign policy experience, his argument against Obama's inexperience is very weak now. Obama's running mate Biden is highly experienced in foreign policy. Therefore,Obama can lean on Biden to help him make decisions on foreign policy matters. As for McCain,he's 72 years old with a history of health problems. If he dies in office, then Palin will take over as president with very little foreign policy experience. If Obama ends up not finishing his term, Biden will be ready to take over as president because of his extensive foreign policy experience.

But yeah...by choosing inexperienced Palin for his running mate, McCain can't argue about Obama's inexperience. McCain's judgment can be really criticized now.

Also...my first impression about McCain's pick is that he's targeting women voters including especially disgruntled Hillary supporters. However, her strong pro-life record won't sit well with the women that are prochoice. Her strong conservatism won't sit right with liberals. Therefore, his pick might actually backfire. His pick can be seen as insulting womens' intelligence too.

  8. just the one with the rotating bucket of chicken out front

  9. Oh God No!  His days of glory are over..... Washed up!  People have caught on to him and even long time top Democrats are jumping ship, as with Geraldine Ferraro jumped today and made it quite clear to the media.

  10. When McCain's unknown goes against Biden, game over.

  11. No doubt. YES!

  12. I think it's going to be close. I do think there's quite a silent majority rooting for McCain, though.

  13. Yes, I think he does stand a very good chance. The real campaigning starts after the Republican Convention this year.

The next two months is what everything till now has just been the lead up to.

McCain has already pulled his dirty tricks and shown what an old dirtbag he is. Naming his illegitimate step daughter as his running mate will not change that.

  14. Contrary to the bias above, Obama seems to have a good shot, at present. However, things can drastically change within the next two months.

No one is "finished" as time has not yet revealed that... silly bias people.

  15. It's very unlikely despite what the media and his fans would have you believe.

The fact is that he's trying to do something that is very difficult to achieve in the first place and he's trying to do it with virtually no relevant qualifications, a skin color that some people still can't get used to in a President, and some pretty sketchy people and associations in his background. It's liable to be pretty messy no matter who the winner turns out to be.

  16. He can make it there if he proves he knows what the )#@)! he's doing.

So far, he just smiles and waves, so do the Penguins on Madagascar.  What's the difference?  Seriously, he can't construct or express any details on anything he believes.  Maybe the Presidency is 'above his pay grade' as well as the abortion issue.  What is his call to glory?  "I said Iraq was a bad idea"...yeah, well who asked you, Mr. State Senator?  We had informed and experienced politicians who thought Saddam needed to be taken out, and he did.  And here we are 5 years later, and we're planning our exit.  Except the Dems want wars and withdrawals done in time to catch their fix of Keith Bozoman or Anderson Looper.

If enough people think Obama is different than McCain or Bush, and that's their only decision point, he has a chance to win.  Except under the Bush administration, is when Obama found his greatest success, so what's he complaining about?

  17. Anyone can go to Washington and visit the Whitehouse.  Even I got in!!  If Obama asks President McCain for a pass, I'm sure he'll give him the tour.

  18. Yes. Obama may have been attacked so much by McCain, but he is in the lead by a little bit.

    I hope he makes it.

  19. Yeah he can drive by it when he goes home in November!

  20. Yeah, sure - during visitation hours!!!

  21. IF THEY NEED THE DRAIN LINE CLEANED

  22. No they might even put him on a ''watch list''

  23. If Jeremiah Wright and his ideology are what has become of this country than yes  ...otherwise NO... because Amereica still loves God,  Honor, Character, and Patriotism!

Barack Hussein Obama (who just a few months ago hated our flag-pin, American anthem and was a 20 year member of a black supremacist church) should not be allowed to even visit the Whitehouse!
