Do you think Odom should play for the Lakers this season?

I think Odom is a terrific player and he played power forward last season and he sucks at being a power forward, Lamar is a very good Small Forward and Bynum back he could play his normal position. I think Odom is going to have a lights out next season

He's going nowhere !The money that frees up for the Lakers is a lot more important than anything they can get for him.

Honestly, I like Odom a lot but he gets under my skin so much from being so freakin inconsistant.  He is great for a few games then hes nothing the next few games.  For what we pay him, we could have a player at his caliber but a more consistant one.  I say trade him for Artest and another scrub player.

I can't agree anymore Lamar is a decent player and he was the key to the fact that the lakers only missed the playoffs 1 once out of the last 3 years. But they keep moving him and though he does improve, he doesn't improve enough he can be an explosive player!. As good as amare stadoumire but it's like he is hesitant to be that player so i say bring a player who will fill that gap. I agree with most whether it's Artest, Marion, Or recently Smith if the Lakers can trade him they should do it.

Honestly I think Odom would suck even more as a small forward especially on the Lakers.  The Lakers don't need another giant slasher, they need a defender and a shooter, two parts of the game that Odom is weakest at.  Honestly I think Odom is better suited as a PF simply because he can rebound.  If I were Phil Jackson I'd play Odom behind Gasol off the bench if he doesn't get traded first.  I'd trade him for someone, but there's no one really on the market right now.
