I'd say Oscar pretty much is the favorite, the odds are against Forbes.

He is not only going to win, he is going to knock Forbes out cold. The more spectacular the TKO the more the people will be posting here and everywhere that the Oscar vs Mayweather II is a must!

Hmmm, I could make the arguement that Forbes will win.

For one, Forbes is easily the busier fighter between the two. Oscar only takes on money fights, and there is a long period in between.

Two, they are both using the Mayweather style. BUT, Forbes has had benefit of being trained by all THREE Mayweathers. Nothing Floyd senior is going to teach Oscar during his "reacquaintance" with training is going to give him the benefits that Forbes has had. Forbes has ALWAYS fought with a Mayweather in his corner...Oscar has only played with it...and not really that well. So regarding the Mayweather factor, Forbes has a clear advantage.

Three, and this would likely be a very good point to make. During the Contender, Forbes was mismatched with people against different weights and neither got dizzy nor took a knee. It took someone considerably stronger to beat him.

Four, and this would be the BIGGIE, Mayweather/Delahoya is already inked up. That leads me to believe that Oscar is not so much paying attention to Forbes as much as he is his next money fight. This fight is not as important to Delahoya as it is to Forbes. The last time DeLaHoya fought and half stepped it thru the fight, Felix Sturm almost beat him into the ground. And I am sorry, Felix Sturm is not HALF as skilled as Forbes is.

Yea. Forbes is a good technical fighter. I started watching him more after I saw his amazing battle with Freddy Curiel on The Contender, but I think De La Hoya will win.

I kind of see this fight as  Cotto vs Gomez.  I have De La Hoya by KO in the late rounds.

i like de la hoya but i want forbes to win so that the mayweather de la hoya fight will fall through and i want cotto to fight mayweather after beatin margarito instead. de la hoya v felix sturm should have gone to sturm cuz de la hoya underestimated him, but i think thats actually workin against forbes cuz oscars not gunna make that mistake again. if forbes does manage to win it wont b by knockout but tho the odds r definately against steve forbes its not impossible for him to steal the decision
