Do you think Pakistan is dropping just like the once mighty Windies came down since the departure of greats?

Though they haven't been "mighty" but they have always been one of the hardest team to beat. And now they're struggling in the Asia cup taking place in their own backyard.

Temperamentally, Pakistanis are very different from WI. WI people are happy-go-lucky. Whereas Pakis have a drive, to put it mildly.

Also Cricket in the subcontinent is more than a sport. Even though Pakistanis are on a low just now, they will improve. Provided politics allow them to.

Nah I wouldn't think so as long as the kids play tape ball cricket Pakistan would continue having great talents.In the Caribbean the American sports such as BB has taken over cricket thats why they have so much trouble.

Pakistan was the greatest team in late eightees and early ninetess.

Second thing is due to PCB, bad choice of coach and captain for the last 8 years, Pakistani team is reallly on a low, but the new talent is not as bad as West Indies new talent.

Not necessarily.  It's been a while since the "greats" left.  Wasim, Waqar, Saqlain, Saeed, Inzi, etc and Pakistan seemed to be going just fine.  They're just unpredictable.

And their unpredictability needs to change into consistency.

Plus there are SO many problems within the PCB.. it's made of a bunch of clowns who don't even know the C of Cricket.  The the impact is directly on the team.

PS:  You can totally compare Pakistan to the Windies.

I don't think so. They are unpredictable. Look at what they did in Kitply cup. One day they were down in the dumps. The next day they beat us easily. You can see this trend even in the Asia cup. That has been the trait of Pakistan for quite sometime now. So better Wait and Watch.
