Do you think Paul Burrell is lying about Diana's death in order to get back in the royal good books?

Does he really think there was not a plot to kill her or is he trying to win favour by saying they liked her and would not have harmed her?

If you read his book and you believe it only one word comes to mind.  "Enmeshment."  If he was as close to Diana as he said he was he definately overstepped the boundaries of a good employer/employee relationship.   I don't think he is lying.  I think he knows if he opens his mouth too much he could be in serious trouble.  I wonder why William and Harry haven't beaten a path to his door if they were such "good friends."  Is it because they have more sense than him?

If he's smart and clever, then yes.  The royal family is going to be around for a very long time.  Burrell has some information about the royal family that they prefer he not shares.  These people deserve each other.  They know what to do to save face.

That guy is such a creep, he'll do anything for publicity, money and to get stuck up someone's a.ss, especially the royals.

I wish people would just let it go, it was a freak accident, it was tragic, but it is what it is.

Fair enough she wasen't liked by the Royals but Lizzy is one i can't see ordering a death, as hard up as she is, i don't think her hate extended that far.

You may just have to accept that there is no conspiracy and she simply died in a tragic accident.

Well it appears that he's likely to say whatever will put him in the best position.  Personally I have never believed that Diana's death was anything but an accident.
