they now have a sort of connection because each has seen the dark sides of each other. don knows about Peggy's baby and Peggy knows about Don's cheating ways. so is there some sort of possibility that they will become very good friends or is there a chance of a complete full on relationship kept secret.

They may become very good friends, but as far as a complete relationship - no.  Peggy is not Don's type at all.
