Just because you are not good at table tennis, doesn't make it a non-sport.  Do you think Gymnastics is a sport.  It is closer to dance.

Real sports have winners defined by measurable outcomes like discrete points.  Basketball, baseball, weightlifting, swimming, running, field games, bicycling, rowing, etc.

Sync Swimming is also not a sport, neither is Karate, diving, nor any other event that requires judges to score.

but i know what you mean, although sometimes it looks really hard. i couldnt do what the olympic ping pong team does... and probaby neither could you, so lets not insult people and what they choose to call a sport.

yes it is a sport, the different sides of the bat make the ball react differently, fast reaction are need to play at top level.

its a sport because competitive ping pong is harder than anything u have ever done in your life. What do u know about ping pong cause i dont but im intelligent enough to know its a tough sport. Table Tennis is a very hardcore sport actually, it's not as easy as people think. I believe it's a sport and a very cool one jsut like soccer and basketball.

I'd disagree with you and say it's definitely a sport.  Can you or I compete with those guys?  h**l no we can't.  

It takes an incredible amount of coordination, practice, and even conditioning to be a world-class table tennis player.  Those guys weren't sweating their brains out while playing because it's easy.

At least table tennis is objectively scored.  Score more points when playing an opponent head-to-head and you win.  Period.  No gray area.  

IMO Sports like table tennis have more right to be in the Olympics than sports like gymnastics or diving where there are a bunch of wishy-washy judges subjectively scoring everything and medals are won by popular vote (after some of the judges scores are thrown out entirely because they were TOO subjective in one way or another!).
