I would not in a million years pick him! He will not play regularly..maybe in cups but they are no good so if you want honest and good advice leave him out! A better bet would be a frist team regular like Reo Coker or Muamba!

its benitez you are dealing with, anything can happen your guess is as good as mine, i have stayed well clear of teams that have managers that like to rotate all the time, a player on the bench in a good team gets no points a player like andy johnston for fulham will start every match if he remains injury free.

Well he will play in the carling cup and there's a good chance h**l be on the bench,if I were you I wouldn't put him there.

Very good question.

It depends on what happens in the transfer market. If Gareth Barry comes and Xabi Alonso doesn't leave, I highly doubt Damien will get many chances this season, even with Mascherano at the Olympics to start off. However, if Barry doesn't come I think Rafa is planning on using Damien at the start of the season with Masch's absence, having seen him start almost every pre-season game this year.

But the odds are that Plessis won't get more than five to ten Prem games this year, so I strongly recommend you don't use him in fantasy football. Not for lack of ability but because he won't score you many points :)

Edit:

Go for either Reo-Coker, Pedro Mendes or Scott Parker...I personally would pick Mendes because now that Muntari's gone he'll be first choice in midfield for a top six team and he should score a few goals for you as well.

I don't think he will so I wouldn't pick him. Rafa will probably play him in Carling Cup, like all the youngters,  not sure if he'll break into first team though.

best advice:

leave him out of your squad he will not play. honestly Rafa will want to play a strong first team as often as he can as he may have realysed rotation did little for him. but also even if he rotates i don't see Plessis playing very often and i think you agree with me otherwise you would not have asked this question.

hint: make a list out of that list of the player who fit this category.

1.are on a good capable team

2.play regular football weekly with more that 1 hour field time.

3.are not often subbed.
