A lot of people are saying the Queen wants Prince William to marry Princess Madeleine who is the youngest daughter of the King and Queen of Sweden and 188th in line to become Queen of England ( she is a descendant of Queen Victoria.) What do you think? Madeleine over Kate??

  1. Definitely ! I've always believed that HRH Princess Madeleine was a beautiful Princess of Sweden, out of all the other royal princesses from all royal houses of Europe. Prince William and Princess Madeleine have so many things in common, including the same zodiac sign (Gemini) and very close birthdays. Prince William (June 21, 1982) and Prince Madeleine(June 10, 1982).

They both were brought up in a fimilar fashion, and could really relate to each other in many ways. Both could understand the pressure of being royal and the media, and I'm positively sure Princess Madeleine got many tricks up her sleeves to dodge the paparazzi (unlike Kate Middleton who only cries to her lawyers like an immature child for getting "too much attention").

The only thing Queen Elizabeth II liked about Kate Middleton was that she was from an "unbroken" family, well both of Princess Madeline's parents are happily married too for over 35 years ! She also loves to ski just like Prince William, and had done many charity work (what have Kate Middleton done, other than clubbing?) Definitely a perfect perfect match !

  2. i think lessons were learnt by charles not being permitted to marry for love ......

while there is still no guarantee a marriage for love will last ... It has to be a BETTER start.

  3. nah!!

  4. No.  I wouldn't be surprised if it were "encouraged", much like Diana and Charles were gently prodded in that direction.  However, I highly doubt that the royal family would risk the public outcry that would be certain to follow from an arranged marriage with his third cousin.

  5. The days of arranged marriages between Royal Families are long over. They used to be to cement ties between countries, in this day and age where the Monarchy has very little power it is not necessary. Ultimately, William will marry who he wants to, not who his grandmother decides is best, technically she has the right to veto any marriage and has to give her approval but unless she had some very grave reservations she is unlikely to withold approval.

  6. William over either one?

  7. No. Who are these people you speak of?

There is no need for a arranged marriage. Arranged marriages used to be needed to strengthen ties between countries, and within. Now with a foreign policy dictated by parliament and not royalty it does not matter who the princes marry
