Also, do you beleive that it is best that they only date rich girls, so that they know that they aren't gold-diggers, and they may understand each other better in terms of backrounds and experience.

  1. I think the chances are slim to none that they will ever go 'outside their class', but I would think that gold-diggers may be found in any social group.

  2. i dont think they will . lol!

  3. Rabag...Charles certainly did NOT marry a middle class girl.  Diana descended from one of the most noble families in the country.  The Spencers got their title because they had the most money in England when the King needed it.  She was definitely not middle class.  I think royalty basically associates with those higher class because they know the rules-not that they always play by them-and know what to expect.  We low class people don't get much of a chance to hobnob with the royals to know what's going on.  That...and the fact that they expect their rich friends to cater to them would make it hard for us to keep up with their demands!

  4. I think they'll probably on date girls on the same social rung as they are.  I think they saw what it did to their mother, hopefully they'll take that into consideration.  Not that I don't mean she wasn't an awesome person.  Diana was a Queen in my eyes.

  5. I think that William is already dating "below" the expectations of the royal family.... Personally, I think she is a nice girl... but I'm not a royal..

  6. Charles did

  7. Well Kate's considered middle class in Great Britain and upper middle to the new rich class in America. And for royalty that's a step down or two.

I think it's possible that one of them will date or even marry a girl who comes from a really poor class in another country.

  8. Kate Middleton and Chelsy Davy ARE middle-class.

They may both be from wealthy families but are still middle-class

  9. When  "pigs fly"

  10. I think that with the people they see in the schools they attend, they won't get to meet to many commoners, unless they are servants. They travel in different circles than the middle class, and William knows that he will hopefully someday be king and his wife will be the queen and so he knows he has an obligation to marry a princess or  someone who can best carry on the duties of a queen, being educated, bright, and beautiful does not necessarily make a good queen.

  11. Prince William's current gf Kate Middleton of 4 years is from a middle-class. There was a huge debate within the royal circle of whether Prince William should date someone from his own social class. As for Prince Harry, Chelsy Davy is somewhat between a middle-class and upper-middle class girl. However, both ladies are still considered to be "far below" from the two royal princes, who are not from blue-blooded families.

A rich person could also be a "gold-digger." A middle-class person would want to marry a millionaire, and a millionaire person would want to marry a billionaire and so on.

There is a HUGE difference between being "rich" and being "royalty." A rich girl does not have any royal titles or duties, she won't have paparazzi flashing cameras in her face (except for celebrities), she won't see herself on tv nor would the entire nation refer her as "Your Royal Highness."

A royal member is a VERY VERY priviledge individual born into a blue-blood family, who will inherit a vast amount of wealth, and the entire nation would bow down to your grace.

A rich girl would never experience anything like that as money can't buy everything, and definitely money can't buy the same respect as shown to royalty.

I believe what you are truly suggesting is that both princes should date from within their own tight circle, a girl who comes from a similar background and experience would be another princess or lady from an aristocrat family.
