  1. More of a science, as it is reductive, 5-sense-oriented, controlling, experimentalist.

"The Master of Lucid Dreams," Dr. Olga Kharitidi,

"The Path of the Higher Self," Mark Prophet,

    "Extraordinary Knowing," Dr. Elizabeth Mayer,

"Psychoenergetic Science," Dr. William A. Tiller, http://www.tiller.org

  2. I have thought for years it ought to be in the Philosophy Department, because it requires the psychologist to understand the value system (metaphysics) and the thought system (epistemology) of the patient.

Now I discover that Epistemic Psychology is emerging, so it proves me right. (I guess it proves Popper right, also, by that other answer.)

I only hope Epistemic Psychology has a rational epistemolgy of its own as a basis for existing.

  3. Neither. Psychology is just an expensive means of finding answers without doing all the homework.

  4. It's a medical science.  It may be a little more abstract than something like surgery or optometry, but it's still a medical science.

  5. i go along with "sadie".

And now since the excellent work of (sir) karl Popper,it can be said that pyschology has a large-part-to play in the Philosophy of science(which,if you read popper's work, you will know that is a mixture of both too).

  6. I think it's a mixture of both.
