Do you think Radek Stepanek Will beat Roger Federer today?

I don't think so. Radek got lucky yesterday against Horna. He played a great game, but he had to play for a long time and fight an injury. He used much more energy to win thhis 3rd round game compared to Roger. Roger is pretty consistent in clay.

I expect Roger to win in straight sets.

Federer is 4-1 versus Stepanek, and 2-1 on clay.  The only time Stepanek won was their first meeting in 2002.

Federer won their last meeting on clay in Rome in 2006.  He won 6-1, 6-4.  Federer is getting his confidence and rhythm back, and the odds are definitely with him.

Federer grew up playing on clay, so he is very comfortable on this surface, even though people commonly call it his worst surface.  He actually gets very good results on clay, although he's never won a French Open yet.  His only problem is that his career is happenning at the same time we have the best clay-court player ever playing - Nadal.  Nadal is just a clay-court juggernaut.

I think he's going to win the match. He's got the tie-break in the first set. Now leading 4-1 in the second set.

Edit: He has defeated Federer for the second time in 6 career meetings. He took the match 7-6, 7-6.

It depends. both of the players are good but roger is consistent but still finds difficulty in beating nadal. Stepanek is not consistent.. But it really depends on the players performance in the court.. Remember that they are only human.. anything could happen in the court maybe federer would win or stepanek.

No he can't. Roger Federer is somewhat consistent this clay court season. Reaching the Finals in Monte Carlo and Winning the title in Estoril. So he gained lots of confidence. He's a good clay court player though, reaching the French Open Finals 3 times
