Do you think Rafa playing doubles tonight will affect tomorrow`s match in the final?

Nadal and Robredo are playing doubles right now as i type lol Im just wondering do you think Rafa is taking on to much ? Or do you think he is going to benefit from it, give him more practice for tomorrow? Opinons.... thanks

He played the doubles all the week (and has had quite difficult and long matches) and he's always been great on the single matches. So I think he will obviouly be more tired than federer but he is better so I don't think it would ruin his chances ofr the title, otherwise he wouldn't play the double with the maximum of his capcities (espcially since they probably didn't even thnk they could reach the final because they had a difficult draw)

And moreover he is with Robredo, who needs to pracice in order to get his level back so maybe he will let him more job than usual. (And Robredo is my favourite player so I am confident)

I hope they will do as well as they did in Chennai three years ago!

I think he's in great enough shape to be able to handle a best- of-3-set doubles match the day before a best-of-3-set singles match.  If these were best-of-5-set matches, I think I'd be a little more concerned, but in doubles you only have to cover half the court, and the points are much shorter to begin with.

If it were hardcourt, I wouldn't advise it, but clay does not wear on his body as much as hardcourt.

It might help him groove his volleying.

it could just give him practice, which is what probably will happen, but it he works to hard, he could overexert himself and not play well against federer.

sorry...i dont know that much about nadal...i'm a federer fan
