  1. Funds are given to religious school if they are accredited. For example, BIOLA (a christian school) is accredited and students there are able to apply for financial aid. Extra funds are not given just because a school is a religous school. On the other hand, "extra funds" are usually given to school that are private (since the cost is more).

  2. no, i think we are best off how we are, public schools need it more than we do! most of the student to teacher ratios here are like 25:1 at prvate schools its more like19:1, they need more of everything if you ask me, were fine
