Do you think Ring of Honor is overrated?

At times I do believe they are because if ROH is so great then why don't they have a TV deal

They don't have a TV deal because they are a small, young company. Most people say, "oh, they don't have a TV show, so I'm not going to take the effort to watch ROH". Make an effort to watch some shows before you ask a stupid question like this.

ROH has produced many of the greatest matches and wrestlers of the last 6 years, so no, it is not overrated in the least.

There are a good number of RoH marks who attempt to convince everybody that RoH is the end-all, be-all of wrestling and the best thing since sliced bread, but it's a very good promotion overall.

RoH has only been in existence for six years and doesn't have the backing of a huge company like TNA does with Panda Energy. It's not like they have millions of dollars to back them up like WWE and TNA do. Let alone the lack of TV-ready production ability: I've seen lesser promotions look better. Besides, wrestling isn't even at its peak, there isn't that much of a demand for wrestling shows on primetime.

The fact is that ROH already has PPVs going, and they're taking small steps to grow. Just because they don't have a TV deal doesn't mean it's a bad promotion: there's tons of factors that go into getting on TV.

Ring of Honor just doesn't have the money or the exposure to earn a decent TV deal. If given the chance I believe ROH could do well over time. It doesn't have the production quality that WWE does, or even TNA does, but production quality isn't always the necessary element. The Original ECW (I hate having to say that) had horrible production but their program was solid and it carved itself a niche in the wrestling world. Ring of Honor also has a solid talent pool. WWE has found itself employing several former ROH wrestlers, the most recent being Colt Cabana and CM Punk. ROH wouldn't be able to compete with WWE in any kind of head-to-head war, but it may be able to hold it's own against TNA. Several former ROH stars are in TNA as well. ROH can't be too overrated if so many of it's wrestlers are finding themselves climbing the ladder of success in the wrestling world.

ROH isn't overrated because they have produced some great athletes such as Nigel McGuiness, Bryan Danielson, CM Punk, Samoa Joe and Christopher Daniels, AJ Styles also had a short stint there aswell.
