Do you think Rockstar will lose money after releasing GTA Chinatown Wars?

It doesn't look like a good game, especially on the DS.

Let's see... the most lucrative IP around these days, on the best selling handheld... a system that has actually GAINED momentum in it's old age. Oh, and it uses the wifi connection and is one of very few 'adult' themed games for the DS. Gee... that's a tough one. Or not.

The game could suck on ice, and they'd still sell more than enough to turn a profit. Not to mention the cash Nintendo probably threw at them to develop an exclusive version of the game (speculating... GTA is very important to them and it may have taken some convincing to bring it to the 'kiddy gaming' company...especially on a hand-held known for cooking games, IQ tests and Pokemon).

But they've been at this franchise for a while now, and some may say they've come close to perfection. I can't see them damaging the brand. Especially with bidding wars going on. EA has wanted them badly, and I'm sure there has been plenty of other interest for them to turn them down so quickly.

How do you know it looks bad?

No screenshots or anything have been released.

All that's been announced is that it will have wi-fi.
