  1. As long as he doesn't do too much and just manages the game and not turn the ball over they'll do fine. But he'll be in a whole lot of pressure throughout this season. I say they go 10-6 and make the playoffs but that's it.

  2. No

  3. its possible this year if they get lucky in a couple games.  I'm going to laugh when rodgers leaves green bay after the season then they will be stuck with 2 rookies

  4. People keep forgetting the Packers are more then Brett Favre. If Favre would have stayed retired I don't think people would even bring this question up. It wasn't even being asked until he was traded. Packers are still a d**n good team, I say this not even being a fan of the packers. i look at it like this, aaron rodgers has a lot of on his plate. He is going to want to go out there and prove people wrong. I think he will be motivated and so will the packer, to show that they are still the nfc north champions and will do everything they can to show you that they can make it post favre era.

May I remind you that mccarthy came into GB when Favre was horrible going 4-12. He turned him into a better qb, what makes you think he won't do the same with aaron? Packers will win the nfc north in my opinion and they will shock a lot of people.

  5. I don't think Rodgers by himself will take Green Bay to the playoffs, but I do think a strong and more experienced offensive line, that at the end of last year really adapted to the zone blocking scheme, will open holes for Grant. That along with a highly underrated defense whose secondary has a great mix of veterans and young guys, not to mention a great set of linebackers (ok poppinga can be weak sometimes but Barnett and Hawk are outstanding) will take the Packers to at least the wild card and hopefully a division championship

  6. no. maybe the defense that got them there last season

  7. No.

  8. hope rodgers doesn't get injury..or else they won't see any playoff bert

  9. yes. the are still a good team with A-Rodg. He has a ton of options at WR, has a good RB with Grant and good O-line and TE's.

They will win the NFC North...

  10. NO

  11. Nope. The Packers will never be the same. I don't even see Rodgers working out in the long run.

  12. yes, did you see MN's defense today?  horrible. downright awful.  as i said all year, MN is overrated.  they just cannot stop the pass.  Rodgers will have a field day against MN.  MN is the only potential threat to GB, so yes, i see GB making the playoffs.

  13. NOT A CHANCE... and it's really sad and pathetic that the upper management screwed the shot at the super bowl up!!!

I'm a hard core Packer fan and a huge Favre supporter as well.  In my opinion the NFL is a business and the point of the business is to compete and get to the super bowl.  That should be EVERY teams goal in the here and now.  It shouldn't be "well we're going to move forward and see what this guy does so that ten years from now we can go to the super bowl again."  It should be (and is for most teams) "we're putting the best man on the field because we want to get to the big game." simple as that.

NO ONE can tell me that Rodgers is better then Favre... that statement is ignorant!

My prediction?  At best 6-10 and that's a shame with all the talent that the Packers have!

  14. I say GB will be a 8-8 team this year. 9-7 at best. Playoffs? Highly unlikely. GB aint even the talk of the town anymore like they used to be... except in AZ. lol.

  15. Green Bay making the Playoffs is very unlikely. Maybe over the years they will get better, but without Favre there like the Dolphins without Marino.

  16. As Wild card maybe

  17. ummmmmm.......... h**l NO
