  1. I doubt. I think this was his last chance and 2006 was his best.

  2. This is a Yes and No answer.  Apart from Nadal,  Federer is the second best clay court player in the world.  With Nadal never say die type of playing style.  I wonder how long can he maintain those kind of level of play.  He might down fall in may be a couple of years, we'll never know.  By then,  Federer will have his chance.  But age is also a factor.  Federer already 27 this year.  French Open required more physical strength compared to others Grand Slam due to the slow surface.  Even if Nadal is not there but age factor and Djokovic might stop him from winning.

  3. if rafa retires...

  4. If he can beat Rafa in Wimbledon, then he has a chance. You see if Rafa  loses Wimbledon again, he'll be just as discouraged as Roger was when he lost in Paris all these years. Then that sets the stage for THE DEAL. Rafa agrees to let Roger win the French, and in return, Roger lets Rafa win Wimbledon. But THE DEAL will get shot to h**l if Rafa wins Wimbledon in 3 weeks.

  5. I wont be too surprised if he does win. The guy is a great clay court player. After all he reached 3, I repeat, 3 French open finals.

But then, again I wont be too surprised if he does not win it either. Because he is playing in the same era as Rafael Nadal who many consider as the best clay court player there ever was (yes, even better than Bjorn Borg according to some people).

One thing is for sure. It is certainly not going to get any easier for Federer.

  6. never!!!

  7. Honestly, no. Unless some unforseen thing happens to Rafa, I don't see it happening. If anything, Fed was much better last year.

  8. No Nadal will never let him win.

  9. yes, he just needs to get over his negativity and change his attitude on the court.

  10. i can see it gettin closer and closer, perhaps if nadal wins wimbeldon this year federer could be a lot closer next year

other than that i cant see him winning unless nadal has to forfit or gets injured

  11. I don't think so. He will just end like Sampras. Many Grand Slam titles, but zero for RG. But, I believe he doesn't need that to be recognized as one of the greatest player of all time. Eventhough his name will never be mentioned when it comes to career Grand Slam topic.

  12. No! not if Rafa is around thats for sure.

  13. no

  14. Only if Rafa gets hurt before Federer gets old.

  15. I really hope so, because he definitely has the talent, character deserving of a French Open title. I mean he's reached 3 finals and 1 semi, that's a monumental effort and I feel he's done his time in the sun to earn a Musketeer Cup, if only he can somehow manage to go all the way.

  16. no, because of one thing, NADAL.

  17. Yes, if he can keep his emotions away from his game.

This year he felt that he was so close to winning it but got really confused and nervous and wasn't able to give anything against Nadal. that was another man playing in the French open final.
