Depends if the teams that are playing are the top calibre teams.

League has nice plays when they get it right. But boring because there no forward pack action. Union is good for showing off real men. And can get pretty boring if New Zealand is not playing. LOL

Absolutely not.  League is too one dimentional and very boring and mostly predictable.

Its a faster paced game and easy for spectators to follow, theres very few breaks no boring scrums or lineouts!
