I mean she had the 400m race already won and she slowed down and ended up with the bronze medal.

  1. I don't think so. She can be more positive and train harder although I found her 'cramps' excuse hard to believe because her expression during that last stretch showed no such thing.

  2. Yeah, silly cow. She must have s**t for brains the way she ran that race. No tactics whatsoever, just run, run, run. Christine well and truly whooped her s***k American behind. Go Ohuruogu!

  3. nope. she is like usain bolt they are very fast

  4. She put too much effort in "stylin" with her ridiculous arm and leg garb.

She looked like a cheap Broadway Street hooker.  Was she thinking that she had the race in the bag, and was spiffing up for the camera shots afterwards?  Run and win the friggin race first, girl.

Her mental game cost her this race, not some bs leg tie up, as

    she claimed afterwards.

  5. She'll be back, She's still a top 400m person

she had a bad race at the the worst time (just like Lo Lo)

    spit happens

  6. Not at all. She just ran her race wrong and set off far too fast and so had no legs left to clinch the win in the home straight. If she can learn to run her race consistently and still have something left in the tank for the final dash for the finish line, she can win Gold.

You should never write off an athlete like that.

  7. Don't know about that.  Unfortunately though, the first thing I thought seeing her out there with the compression sleeves on her shins was - "Are you stupid?  You're going to get a cramp in your thigh or hamstring!"  Compression sleeves reduce blood flow to the area.  Thus, in a sprint, the blood would not flow properly through her upper leg.

Oh well.  I guess in her effort to look good, she cost herself the gold.  I'm surprised her coach let her out there wearing that.  I wonder how much they pay him....
