Do you think Sarah Palin's daughter might hurt McCain?

Well, sources tell us her 17 year old daughter is pregnant. THESE DAYS, there aren't many teen pregnancies, like it was in the early 90's.

Do you think this might hurt McCain? Or do you think most people will blow it off?

  1. I doubt there will be a single person who will now vote the socialist ticket because Palin's daughter is pregnant.

  2. I think Sarah Palin herself will ruin McCain's chances.

  3. If Palin was an extremely experienced politician the ticket could weather this, but for the fact that she does not have much experience and was just introduced to the country, little stories like this can at a minimum be a huge distraction for the campaign, and that will hurt them.  It also leaves a lot of questions open, like who is the boyfriend? How old is he? Does he really want to marry her?

  4. Well, now the Libs are having a field day with this news.

But they hated McCain anyway, so it matters none at all.

What family do you know that never had an unwed Mother in it?

Only a few self-righteous so-called Christians will make a fuss.

Anyone else cannot help but sympathize and know how Sarah feels.

  5. Yes, certainly

  6. Why is Bristol Palin running for president?

  7. Well I don't think anybody is going to be like "wow I'm definitely voting for them now". They might lose a few of the ultra conservatives but I don't think it will make a huge difference.

  8. do you think barack obama being black will affect his chances?

  9. Actually it does show that she is unswervingly pro life.  Admirable that she is a stand up person.

  10. It certainly won't help McCain in anyway. A lot of the Ultra conservatives are going to argue that as a mother she should be there with her daughter, not running for VP, and even more so she should have known more about what her daughter was doing in the first place. But with those same religious conservatives some will have already felt disappointed in the fact that he chose a female running mate in the first place. Considering many share the view point that a woman's job is in the home, not in politics and the work force. If nothing else it will be interesting to see where this goes.

  11. Most people will blow it off, but it might affect the opinions of the more religious conservatives.

But they wouldn't vote for Obama, they would just not vote at all which is something the GOP is worried about this year.

  12. I think it magnifies Palin's extremist views AGAINST womans rights, and shows the outcome of a family that preaches enforcement, but doesn't share knowledge.

The moment her daughter had some freedom, she made a mistake that will limit her choices in life.

I'm glad she has chosen to have the kid, but forcing her into a marriage at 17 is probably going to be a disaster.

  13. Of course it would hurt him!

  14. No. I think most people will recognize it is a private family matter; and they will relate personally to Sarah Palin even more.
