I find it funny that a liberal "hero" can KILL someone by drunk driving and not lose his seat in office and still get called a great democrat....yet Palin is to get judged so harshly? h**l you would almost think she was friends with Ayres.

Also if Palin were a liberal her daughter could go to another state and get an abortion and as parents Palin couldnt do a d**n thing about it . As a minor im suprised this is even legal given the fact that teens who commit crimes never get their names released unless they kill someone lol...leave it to a liberal though they like taking things from anyside they can and kill babies on top of it...and to think i was a dem for 19 years LOL

I do know she is loving and supportive of her chldren, and having a teenager get pregnant is not the end of the world, happens everyday to families that are good and not so good.

Yes I Do!---She is a fine lady and raised her children right----the pregnant daughter is 17-------what kind of beast has total control over a 17 year old woman---she can now make her own decisions---I feel she made a mistake and her family values will kick in and she will do just fine.

yes I do think she has been a good parent, up untill her decision to run for VP.  Her daughter will need her help.  A young mom needs a mom.  And let's not forget her own special needs newborn.  That's a lot of responsibility for a person who has a full time job as governor and another full time job as VP candidate.

I think she was not paying close enough attention.  If someone wants to have lots of kids they need to be able to keep an eye on them.  At 17 they need lots of guidance, because they can make a lot of decisions that will effect the rest of their lives.  So I can't give Mom very high scores.

What the daughter did isn't her fault.  However, she is an advocate of abstinence only education.  It is likely that she relied on abstinence and neglected to inform her daughter about her options for contraception and safety from STD.  Since teens will be teens, however manu abstinence lectures they have to sit through, that's irresponsible parenting in my personal opinion.

Look, there comes a time where your kids are going to make theri own decisions whether you like it or not, and whether you agree or not. It's part of a little thing called growing up. Just because her daughter is pregnant she is not a good mom? Isn't that a little judgemental?

My question is, is Obama a good parent? Admiting to using hard drugs, Affiliating with known terrorists who have attacked the country, being friends with a man who spews vile racist things.

Many Obama supporters should really learn to keep their mounths shut. Especially since they want people to lay off Obama's wife, who thre her hat in the political ring long ago.

The hypocrisy and double standard of the democratic/ liberal side of America shows itself once again! Leave Michelle Obama, who hgas been making out of control and horrible comments, alone, While we attack Palin's daughter for getting pregnant.

Listen up people, it backfired on Kerry/ Edwards when Edwards started attacking Chaney's L*****n daughter, and it will backfire again.

As a side note:

I find it very funny that all these liberals, democrats, and Obama supporters have lashed out at Palin and her daughter and don't even know them. All they know is a media story, and yet now they feel they can jump all over these two women. That sounds like the tactics of Washington all over again. Maybe all the people bashing this innocent woman, and her innocent daughter, should ask themselves how much change are they really ready for.

So her daughter got pregnant. BIG DEAL, I would rather my daughter get pregnant than to have her knowingly associate with racists and terrorists.

I love the way that these Libs have latched onto this story.  Apparently she is the very first teen to get pregnant. Well, if that makes Mrs Palin a bad mom, then by the same logic Obama is a racist terrorist by the actions of his father and grandfather. Yes she is. No one is perfect and she recognizes the fact that her daughter is imperfect and made a mistake, but she still loves her daughter none the less.

I find it laughable that Democrats are all now high and mighty moralists wanting to condemn over a pregnant teen. One has to wonder in the last 200 years how many politician's daughters we whisked away to an abortion clinic in middle of the night to avoid this kind of embarrassment. Even the great iconic Kennedy family Ted and JFK, had one of their sisters locked away and lobotomized to avoid public scrutiny because she was mentally retarded, much like Palin's new born child today.

Teen pregnancy while a problem, isn't a total disaster. I myself was the product of two 16 year olds 42 years ago.  My own daughter got pregnant while still in high school. She stayed in school, graduated with straight A's, and even got a part time job to help pay for diapers and baby formula. I didn't ask her to do that. She just did it. We all do the best we can when we raise our kids. They are still going to make mistakes. It's what the kid does after that mistake is the real measure of their character.

As parents (moms AND dads) we've made a commitment to put our children's welfare first.  Pulling them into the limelight like this was foolish at best.  It seems terribly selfish of her.
