Do you think Sarah Palin now realizes her daughter figured out how to fornicate without a s*x ed class?

I mean seriously people. Teenagers were fornicating before there were such things as schools. They hardly need s*x education to figure out what goes where. After eight years of Bush and abstinence only s*x ed, teen pregnancy is on the rise again. Isn't it time to stop letting policy be set by these religious zealots? The head-in-the-sand approach clearly does not work or Bristol Palin would have remained chaste. And bringing her boyfriend to the convention? You do realize this kid just stood in a reception line for possibly the next president of the United States and got standing ovations from "abstinence only" GOP delegates because he got his girlfriend knocked up?

I don't think the issue is teenagers having s*x, but the ignorance and hypocrisy of preaching something as unrealistic as abstinence and not teaching about the use of birth control.

As for the baby daddy being in such a prestigious position, I think it lowers the convention to the set of a Jerry Springer episode.

I hope she now realizes her daughter could have benefited from a Sexed class, to bad she had the program cut in Alaska. It's also to bad that she cut funding for Unwed pregnant mothers, her daughter is going to need some non-judgmental support.

I think it's way past time to leave Palin's daughter out of it and actually discuss something pertinent to the campaign issues.

I think it's laughable that she thinks that the solution to her trampy boozehound underage kid's little screwup is to get married to the babydaddy.   They'll be divorced after they lose the election - just watch. If they win, he's stuck unless he enlists, but I am pretty sure her camp will deter him from escaping that easily.  

Palin's an uber christian, and uber christians are insane. They believe no matter what choices they make, they're just and are advised from god himself.  Yeah her daughter's a dumbshit, but the only solution is to marry her off to save her own reputation - which it doesn't. That's the only solution for unwed mothers - get married.  

We can't get off their case - how she raises her kids shows her priorities and FAMILY is not one of them.  Her career is A#1 and that's not someone you want in office.
