Do you think Shawn Johnson will be like the next Michael Phelps next olympic games?

I mean that she will only win gold medals in all her competitions...She is doing great in these olympics anyway, 3 silver medals and maybe Gold next tuesday?

No, I think she is an amazing athlete, but one thing I have noticed about gymnasts is that they often lack consistency. And, as someone has already mentioned, she doesn't have the opportunity to compete in as many events as Phelps does.

i don't think that she'll be that good

i mean, she's good but probably won't be comparable to michael phelps

Impossible, swimming have more events and more medals are given out. Plus, they're in different fields.

I think she is a magnificent athlete, but it will be many years before anyone comes a long and breaks Michael Phelps record.  HooRah for Michael Phelps -- makes me proud to be an American, especially one currently living in Australia where they really are overbearing about their swimmers.  And to think, he is a pretty humble guy too!  USA should be proud of him and all their other athletes too as they have put on a good show and also upheld their American Pride without being obnoxious.
