  1. I HOPE NOT !!!!!!!!

  2. Si.

    Definitivamente si!

  3. does Mexico recognize any of the minority languages as an official language? Or does Mexico expect anyone wanting to participate effectively in Mexican society to learn Spanish?

Many English-speaking Americans have retired to Mexico....will Mexico now make English a co-official language with Spanish?

My immigrant ancestors learned English in order to become an integral part of American society, and to become American and participate in the wider culture.

Learning English does NOT negate the contributions of minorities, but helps the whole society operate just a little bit more smoothly.

Learning English does NOT force a minority to give up the culture, but adds value to the life of the minority and the mainstream culture, enables all to communicate effectively and participate fully.

  4. I didn't know they taught English over their. Why don't you speak    English when you come over here. lol.

  5. And here I was just thinking to myself that I hadn't heard any of the Aztlan BS lately.

  6. this is America d**n it they should be required to learn English or get the h**l out. I think it is outragious that we are teaching our children this trash.  Once again this is America we speak english here. Just like in mexico they speak spanish how would the like it if we overran their country and forced they to speak our language. i would suspect that they would be enraged and offended. this is their country how dare we come and tell them what to do. it is the exact same thing here.

  7. Spanish is not the official language of Aztlan.  Whatever language was spoken by the people of Aztlan (before the conquest of that region by the Spaniards and other sea-faring plunderers) should be accepted as a co-official language of the region.

What?  No one speaks Aztlanian?  Well, someone should revive that language so that it can be adopted by the people of that region.

  8. No.  A language should not be co-official with English in a certain section of the United States just because a large number of immigrants from a certain country live there.  Would Swedish be co-official in parts of Minnesota?  Would French be co-official in parts of Maine?  Where would it end?  This country is made up of many peoples from many nations, and they have all learned English without abandoning their cultural roots.  There is no reason why Spanish speaking immigrants cannot do the same.

  9. Nope, those that immigrate to the US should learn and use the official language of our great country: English.

There is no such thing as Aztlan.  When I go to Mexico or other parts south, I speak Spanish.  When you move here, you should learn English.

  10. Well you might have a new avatar, but you still have to mention your fictional Aztlan every other day. Spanish is not going to become anything official in the US and you know it. Dream on.....

  11. Sorry you misposted again, this is still not the mythology section.

  12. Honey, don't worry about it.  As long as the United States is as retarded as it is now, they won't be smart enough, or have the resources to teach their population another language.  I know one thing though, all those "Illegal" Mexicans should do themselves a favor and move to Canada instead, it's much nicer there and they are tolerant of immigrants.

  13. Aztlan doesnt exist, there is no, and should be no official language in any state in the US.

  14. Hard to believe that somehow English speaking people feel so threatened that they cannot recognize the contributions that Spanish speaking people have made to the US since it's inception.Recognizing the contributions of our founding nations up here in Canada has made us a stronger country overall and French only accounts for about 8-10% of our population and is primarily only spoken in a couple of areas. You have almost a quarter of your Nation that has many , many Spanish speaking people along with 20-30 million illegals ? What are you afraid of, being more tolerant or multi-cultural? For this great democracy you all seem to feel you have, all Republicans being true Americans and Democrats being traitors, your true divides are showing. Recognize one of your founding nations and at least 10-20% of your overall population. Show the rest of the World that you really are the great TOLERANT Nation you make yourselves out to be. Has worked out great for us up here. Don't be afraid to try something new.
