They didn't think it was a huge deal, but I guess just from looking at the picture, yes it is racist, but i don't think its immature. They think it was funny, but the joke ended up on them.

The word isn't immature! It's rascist! At school ppl go around making fun of Spanish ppl. And they seem to get pretty mad......so how would they feel? The Spanish b-ball team would get mad, so why would they do that to Asians?

What they are is worse than simply being immature.  These are not children were talking about.  Yes they were in an ad shoot, but the players in the picture had no issue with posing for the picture nor have they voiced any remorse since.  In Spain the story hasn't even appeared in some of their major newspapers as a matter of fact.  The one thing I'll say on their behalf is that what they did may be acceptable behavior in Spain but as a free-thinking American it paints those players in a whole different light in my book.

just because you dont intend for it doesnt mean it isnt.  when people call black people n**** and say 'no offense i didnt mean it', i guess black people should understand and say its cool.

i wouldnt say theyre immature, but the ad was racist whether it was intended or not.

i would say it was intended, since they have been known to be racist, and if you watch european soccer you would know.

the spanish team did not want to do that ad put the sponsors made them they really didnt intend to hurt any one, do u really really think they meant to be racist come on now, just read the ad
