Do you think Stephen Harper will get his majority on October 14th?

I don't think Harper would be in such a hurry to call an election at this time if he didn't think the Conservatives would win with a majority. Whether or not they will depends on the mood of the country. I really don't know. I don't believe I'm alone in saying I totally disagree with Harper about many policies, including his lack of action on the environment, and militarizing the North instead of concentrating on the quality of life for people in the territories. On the other hand he seems like a safe predictable choice as leader, whereas Stephan Dionne is kind of an unknown quantity, and the NDP of course never stand a chance. Although I don't necessarily want them too, I'm guessing the Conservatives will win, but they won't have a majority government.
