Do you think TGI Friday's or Chili's is the best restaurant in the world?

Definitely Chili's. That place makes me feel like I live in like the Southwest or possibly Ontario, that I'm in some kind of random roadhouse off the highway where all the locals go, but none of the tourists know about.

When really I'm at LAX waiting for a connecting flight.

They really help you live the dream.

I like Chili's alot better than TGI, but I don't think it's the "best restaurant in the world". I'm sure there are alot that are better.

I'm way more of a mom n pop restaurant kind of gal...  I don't care much for the frozen and prepackaged food that these places you mention serve.  They aren't exactly horrid, but they also aren't what I consider to be good food when I actually go out to eat.

YUCK @ TGI Friday's.  I don't like it there at all.  Chili's is rather excellent, though. :o)

While there are things at both of those places that I do enjoy, I can't say either would even remotely qualify as the best restaurant in the world.  And no, I don't have a best.  I have a favorite (or sometimes a couple of favorites) for each type of food I like though.

Friday's mos def cuz I got one of those frequent goer cards and almost got kicked out of there from doing a shot and tilting my head too far back and knocking a godamn oar off the godamn wall.

Very formula boring restaurants. Pretty much interchangable. You wouldn't catch me at either one, i enjoy good food.

While I do like both of those places (mostly because they both have a full bar), I certainly wouldn't call either the best restaurant in the world.

I think the best restaurant is Morton's of Chicago. I do love a good steak.

I used to like Chili's when it first opened where I live back in 94 ro 95, but my taste for that restaurant didn't last long. I like the food at TGIF actually, but don't usually eat there. I will usually go to TGIF for Monday Night Football because they have free hotdogs at the bar, ALL drafts are $1.00 for their standard glass of beer, the wings are $.25 a piece, and after 10PM they have a select appetizer menu for $3.00, which really can't be beat. I mainly go to load up on Guinness since a pour only costs a dollar. You just can't beat that price even when compared to the prices I would pay for a pint of Guinness when I was living in England 10 years ago.

Both are not the best in the world to me though. I don't have an oppinion of what is the best, but I do frequent TGIF more often than Chili's.

If you do, perhaps you need to go buy new taste buds. Both of those ratholes and all the big American chain restaurants in their image are a scourge upon the earth. I am pretty sure they are some form of curse from god.
