I really enjoy playing both but i dont want them to get in my way of school so what should i do..i've been cheering since i was 8 and i've been playing volleyball ever since 9th grade year..so should i drop one of the sports???

  1. I think you should see how your schedules will come out and see if you can handle everything and if you can't maybe you should think about dropping the sport or putting it on hold. But no it's not to much i'm just like you i cheer and volleyball and in the spring i'm going to have soccer, softball, and clubs and have to be ready to try out for cheer leading again. And your sometime volleyball and cheer leading will collide but you'll have to pick which one's more important at that time. but yea it's gonna be a tough for anyone to do that with a busy schedule with sports they love.

P.S. your class of 2010.... OH YEA ME TOO!!! lol

  2. PLAY BOTH SPORTS.  You will regret it afterwards.  I got a job senior year and had to quit tennis, a sport i reached the state finals in the year before.  I regret it still.

  3. Why not give it a try and see how it goes?  I think people can handle a lot more than they think they can.  My daughter does cheer, competitive gymnastics and track, and she maintains an A average (with all honors classes).  Yes, she's busy, but she's been able to handle it all just fine.  In fact, I think she does better when her schedule is full... it forces her to stay organized.  When you have a lot of time on your hands, you tend to put things off until later.  But when time is in short supply, you use it more wisely.  So go ahead and give it a try.  If it proves to be too much, you can always drop one of the sports.  But I'm betting you'll be able to handle it all and do just fine!

  4. No, just try and make yourself as organised as possible and keep focused.

    You can do it :)
