Do you believe him? I've never seen him hobble around until he played at Torrey Pines. What do you think?

  1. I don't believe he's reached legendary status as of yet, considering he's still an active player and hopefully has a lot more wins to earn in the future.  There are a few "certified legends" in golf in front of him with more majors and PGA titles than he has, but would say that he is working on one heck of a "storied career" so far.

Every sport has a few players, but golf has a few that played with disease or injury.....  Justin Leonard had back problems, John Daly had substance abuse problems, Casey Martin had a childhood leg disease, Paul Azinger had a form of benign cancer and now Tiger has knee problems along with other players that suffered through health adversity.

I used to be an amateur golfer and a professional bowler and know how it feels to play with chronic leg and arm problems.  It's difficult to play, but as long as the problems are not debilitating, it's definitely possible.

  2. I doubt that he had a torn ACL for his entire pro carrer. Sometimes when i swing my knee hurts and if you have such as fast swing like Tiger, it puts a lot of torque on your knee, and he has been playing since he was like 2 months old. Play golf for as long as he has for as much as he has, and your knee will bother you too.

  3. No.
