  1. No.  There are only two continents that have never had any Olympic games.  The continents are Africa and South America.

Potential African hosts - Egypt and South Africa.

Potential South American hosts - Brazil, Chile and Argentina.

  2. No. Many Japanese don't think so, except a governor of Tokyo.

  3. Yes i think so because it is so cool that they prob will:) Both of them are cool:)!!

  4. Omg, I would so be happy if it was :D!

  5. Well I think that they might but I am hoping for Chicago.

  6. i think after all the c**p that's already happened in china with these olympics ie protests, murders, attacks, etc the olympics will stay out of asia for awhile

  7. I dont know but didn't someone in Bejing Olympics tourist in crowd get killed?

2010 Vancouver! Wooooot wooot! GO CANADA

  8. No I do not think that Tokyo will host the 2016 Olympics. The IOC likes to rotate the olympics to different continents and since the current ones are in China, the chances are not looking good for Tokyo. Chicago on the other hand has a really good shot at winning the bid. In 1904 Chicago won the bid, but the Olympics were moved to Saint Louis. It's our turn!!

Chicago is a beautiful city that has the budget, capabilities, public support, facilities and plans to host the 2016 Olympics. Plus its in the middle of the country and easy to get to from anywhere in the world. It's a major hub for airlines and the time zone is perfect!

I live here and am so excited at the possibility of Chicago winning.

  9. In all honesty the two top contenders at the moment are Tokyo (with 8.3 bid), and Madrid (with 8.1) Chicago (7.0). So with that information. I'm neutral as to  with whether its in Madrid or Tokyo.

I hope Tokyo because I like Tokyo

For the Chicago v Tokyo question, I also say Tokyo because I live in Milwaukee which is a 1.5 hour drive from Chicago and the next biggest city in that area. And it will be a hot mess if the Olympics are held in Chicago. For one crime is kinda bad.

Milwaukee also has Olympic stadiums that some events will probably be held at. And honestly no one over here wants to deal with the mass amount of tourists that will flood the area. We already have heavy tourism with the summer festivals, and the occasional Cubs vs Brewers games. We just don't want to deal with massive amounts of people causing problems, etc. and the authorities not being ready to take care of the possible.

  10. I hope Chicago.

Because, I like Chicago better than Tokyo.

Sweet memories and have nice friends there.

  11. I hope so it'll be great to see Tokyo show case themselves, and Japan.

I will be clean and efficient and (no offence) but shorly much cleaner and nicer than Beijing.

  12. From This olympic,We learned that host country must be safe ,stable, developed country.

I agree with you,Rio de Janeiro will be out of the race soon..

Actually,Japanese dont want to be host and Tokyo is very small.

maybe Chicago will host and fight with terrorism.

  13. Yeah, Rio's bid is going nowhere fast. Madrid has a problem in that the Barcelona Olympics were not so long ago. I think the Tokyo bid is on to something with it's idea of using almost all already existing facilities in this enviormentally concious age-but the IOC may think differently. If the citizens groups in Tokyo come out against it the IOC will take note of that. There are a lot of people who find life in Tokyo difficult enough without two weeks of even worse traffic jams.

  14. I hope it will be in Tokyo..And i do believe that Tokyo will have get the chance to host it again.. I really hope it will work out because i want to attend that olympics.

  15. :)) i was gonna say i hope it's tokyo or chicago, i like japan, don't know why, and if it's in chicago the chances of me bein able to attend are heightened a lot.

and what about Copenhagen? aren't they in the running?

  16. Holy c**p, man i hope it's in tokyo. The stadiums would be state of the art. Man i hope they get the Honor of the olympics, but personally i don't think anyone an top the opening ceremony from Beijing
