Psh, there are lots of people who are one thing then become another.

I don't think he was wonderful because of that fact. I think Tony Snow was a great person because not only did he do one of the best jobs as Bush's press secretary (that's a hard job, especially with a war and public favor not being too good), but as a journalist. His stories always had some sort of personal connection that could be seen by anyone and make them react. Everything I've seen/heard from him has that personal touch. Things like that make you a unique writer, a unique person.

I have been watching and listening to him since the war started. I always felt very personal with this man. I have never met him, yet he seems like my friend. I have spoke to him on radio though.

So, the answer is YES HE WAS WONDERFUL.,,..

I don't agree with his politics, who he worked for, or many of the things he said.  However, he was a very brave man who faced the fight for his life with great dignity and immense courage, never losing his sense of humor even when obviously suffering.
