Question:

Do you think Twilight could be read the other way around?

Let me explain this:

When all the books are finished, the same series will be read in two perspectives:

One would be from Bella's perspective, which are: Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse then Breaking Dawn.

And now Stephenie Meyer is working on the books from Edward's perspective, I know the first book is Midnight Sun, and that's all I remember but you know what I'm talking about. The Twilight Series will be made in Edward's perspective.

I believe most fans will read Meyer's books from Twilight Series to Midnight Sun Series.

Now here's where my question comes into play:

Do you THINK the book could flow well if you read the Midnight Sun series before reading the Twilight series?

(By the way, I have to apologize. It's really hard to phrase this question and explain it the way I like and the way I believe that it's easiest for everyone to understand.)

  1. no no NO!!!!

you cant read edwards perspective until you have read bellas perspective, because then you would know the plot and what will happen in the story before it happens - the main events!

such as - when bella discovers that edward is a vampire - reading midnight sun, youd get that from the first chapter!

                - when edward leaves bella - youd know cos edward would be thinking about it!

sorry, but i think it would spoil it if you read edwards POV first.

  2. Probably not. Stephenie Meyer intended the books to be read first from Bella's point of view. If it were Edward's first you would know too much about vampires and Twilight would be less exciting.

  3. umm...maybe...but i guess none of us really know yet cuz Midnight Sun hasnt come out yet...and btw Stephenie Meyer might not be doing all 4 books for Edward's POV!

    HOPE I HELPED!!! GOOD LUCK!!!

  4. yeah, i think so. you would be able to understand what edward was thinking a lot of the time. she is only planning on doing Midnight Sun, though

  5. I think that it depends on the way Ms. Meyers writes the book.  She could write it so the two series could be read independently from each other pretty easily.  It will be hard to say for sure until the first book comes out.  The only other example I can think of where there is a parallel series is the Ender's Game and Ender's Shadow series and they both turned out great.

  6. no i watched a you tube video with stephenie and she said she is only writing twilight in edwards perspective and it is to be called midnight sun. when she was asked about the other books she said once you've read midnight sun and all the other twilight saga you will know what his thoughts were in new moon eclipse and breaking dawn. Which sucks but there will only be one from edwards POV.

but i get what your saying. PERSONALlY i think the book will be better in edwards POV because first of all he is a mind read and second hes mind is so much more complicated then Bella's so wwe will learn so much more and i think to start off with midnight sun would be a whole other adventure:]

  7. I didn't think Smeyer was doing anything more than just Midnight Sun.

and I don't think it really matters I guess.  Either way they both hate themselves so Twilight is all about Bella loathing herself and talking about how incompetent she is whereas Midnight Sun is about Edward hating himself and calling himself a monster.

  8. I think reading Twilight then Midnight Sun will be better

  9. it doesnt matter.  it doesnt change the fact that it all comes to one ending: having the demon child.

so twilight than mid. sun for me.

  10. I don't think that would work at all and this is why.

She is only making the one book from Edwards POV

also she has said in an interview before that she couldn't release midnight sun until she was done breaking dawn because it would ruin that book if she did. so theres your answer no you couldn't

  11. Yes if it starts from the first book but i feel like it might fell like reading the first book over again with a few minor changes

  12. Shes only writing Midnight Sun from his perspective and thats it.

    Thank god.

I'm sick of the Twilight series.

  13. I think Stephenie Meyer is writing ONLY Midnight Sun from Edward's perspective. I don't think she is going to carry on that series but, if she did, I would say that it wouldn't matter either way to me. If Midnight Sun had have been released before Twilight then people would have read it the opposite way.
