It is funny you mention this......

There is an article on Yahoo where they stated that Bolt is capable of  playing American Football because of his lighting speed, height and strong build....perfect for a receiver if he could learn how to catch

q2.  No....unlike Sprinting....there are too many positions in Footy for one player to be the best in all of them. But Messi is the best player @ his position and would be a first choice on any current squad

No. Speed isn't everything. And it certainly isn't the only skill you need in english football. What good is speed when the lad probably wont be able to control/head let alone competently pass a ball?

Look at Luton Shelton (ex-sheff utd). Fast as owt, but he was poor. Defenders sussed him out within 5 minutes, he couldn't shoot, no control, no composure in front of goal. Some of that was in the premiership, so that proves pace isn't the only quality you need.

And for the last question, Bolt just broke the 100m world record, it shouldn't be hard to work out.
