Question:

Do you think Usain Bolt will later regret knocking his chest the last 30m of the 100m race?

Imagine what he would of got: possibly 9 seconds 32 milliseconds.

His 200m was 19.3 with average 9.65 for the 100.

When another guy breaks his 9.69 record with 9.50 or something...

  1. There wont be a man run a 9.50 for another 30 years. A person that fast is one in a trillion.

  2. Bolt has not shown any remorse, why should he....?

He didn't do anything wrong, this particular hand gesture is a trade mark of his, check his record, plus it's a Jamaican thing.

  3. No.

He is only 21, he had no tailwind, his left shoelace was untied, and he was competing in the 200m a couple days later. Unless he gets a major injury, he will definitely be able to set a better record. Tyson g*y has the fastest timed 100m dash at 9.68s, but he had a tailwind of 4+ m/s (his time doesn't count as the WR because a tailwind of over 2 m/s results in a disqualification).

Just imagine what Bolt could do with a tailwind of 1.5-2.0 m/s when he's at his prime (older than 21).

  4. Besides losing speed, he also looked like an idiot.  Serves him right when his record is broken!

  5. Bolt is no idiot.  He left some in the tank for when the European tournaments start.  Then he'll put the hammer down and win that $100,000 purse for breaking records.

The way that boy runs, I don't think anyone is going to come close anytime soon.  He's also young, only 21, he'll get faster.

EDIT, to Macarena, quit hating on Phelps when you don't know his motivations.  Phelps had a request from a terminally ill child before the Olympics to win 8 gold in Beijing.  I'm sure he wanted it too, but something like that would also drive a champion to do his best.

  6. Well with that time i think the only person that's gonna break his record is him.

So wait 4 years... And he'll break it.

  7. Usain Bolt is not as egoistic as Phelps. He doesn't care.

  8. yea I think Bolt will regret it if it gets broken.  Even if he goes on to break it in a another track event it won't be the Olympics.

  9. Lol if i were him i wouldnt...bad *** thing to do.
