Yes, and I think it's about time Warner Brothers and Disney Corp started paying Bugs Bunny and Mickey Mouse - they must be due for one heck of a big settlement when their case comes up!

More and more tech companies are going to community based support for their products and services, or at least making it an option. In most cases, this ends up being a plus for the customer looking for an answer for a question, as they can often get a faster response and sometimes even a more knowledgeable response from another customer. While it would be nice to be paid for helping to resolve any given companies problems, it is not likely to happen. Also, for a lot of people, myself included, the knowledge that you have been able to help someone is its own reward.
