  1. yes because the blue red green can only carry 1080i (i=interlaced) signal but the hdmi carry's 1080p (p=progressive)

  2. yes it will i just got one yesterday and i tried the blue-red-green and it was all blurry and snowy but with the HDMI CABLES IT IZ CRYSTAL CLEAR

  3. the hdmi is the best choice.do not buy the 70 dollar ones at best buy.go on ebay, you will find the same for 10 bucks...

  4. yes, your watching bluray in 480p resolution with av cables (blue-red-green), since the image is being displayed in1080p then hdmi is the only way you will be able to view it in this resolution. the difference is phenomenal!!  good luck!

  5. Definitely.

    I have a PS3, a $70 HDMI cable, and a 52" Sony Bravia.

Compared to my last setup (a 32" SDTV, red-white-yellow cables) the picture is helluva lot better.

  6. actually it is and blu ray is shown sometimes in full 1080p or 1080i. the HDMI cable can take in all that info rather than standard cables
